Research Program Manager
Byron began his clinical research career as a research assistant at the New York State Psychiatric Institute.
He further worked in a neuroscience-focused experiential design studio as the lead research coordinator at Columbia University.
In the lab, Byron works as the research program manager where he manages recruitment of study participants, clinical data and sample collection,
and overall project management of studies investigating the causes and underlying mechanisms of neurodevelopmental disorders.
Postdoctoral Fellow
Xiao is passionate about developing computational methods for analyzing long-read bulk/single-cell RNA-seq. He is interested in taking differential expression and splicing analyses into a long-read perspective. Xiao also makes use of DNA sequencing and array technologies to investigate neurodevelopmental disorders.
Associate Researcher
Yoav earned a doctoral degree in developmental neurobiology from The Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel.
He then completed his postdoctoral training in the Dept. of Genetics and Genomic Sciences at Mount Sinai.
In the lab, Dr. Hadas is working to unravel the role of novel RNA molecules in the human brain and their impact in neuropsychiatric disorders. To do so, Yoav uses various bioinformatics tools to analyze
full-length RNA sequencing data at the tissue and single-cell levels.
